The Polish office is the third seat of ASB settled in Central and Eastern Europe, but it will mostly deal with foreign investors from all over the world.
ASB is expanding, thanks to its rising clients’ base and the increasing demand for trust services that are still rather uncommon in this region.
Mr. Przemek Oleksy, the Local Partner and Managing Director of ASB Poland, comments on the newly established office: “ASB’s presence in Poland will allow us to offer services to investors who are present in several countries in the region. This will be another benefit for our clients, who will thus be provided with the same quality of services in all our locations. Furthermore, Poland has got a market that is more than four times bigger than the Czech Republic’s, which represents a significant potential for our business.”
ASB builds on a unique “know-how” in the area of establishment, administration, management and liquidation of a company. Trust management services have, especially recently, received the highest level of interest of foreign investors.
The company responds to the clients’ needs not only by an adequate capacity increase, but also by an enlarged portfolio of products.
Mr. Rudolf Vrestal, Managing Director of ASB, is identifying several crucial points that have given rise to the demand: “This relatively new form of an external company’s management enables foreign investors to establish a business in the Czech Republic and manage it virtually from their home country. Investors thus needn’t care for a company’s formation, daily operations, nor solve tax, accounting and legal issues. They even needn’t have their own manager because all responsibilities are taken by a local trust manager. It allows the clients to focus on their core business instead of spending too much time on operative decisions.”
In practice, investors really obtain a whole range of benefits: an effective cost allocation, an experienced trust manager with a knowledge of the local market, quarantees to cover any potential risks and especially the opportunity to enter the market within a matter of days.
